SUMMARY OF YOUR 2ND YEAR AT LA CAMPIÑA SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDRY

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? Your second year as students of La Campiña School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is almost over!!

First of all, as Headmistress of this magical school, I want to congratulate The Lightining Hunters, who were the winners of the 1st Year House Cup. They did a great work and as a reward, they could celebrate their victory with a magical meal.

This year, all Houses are working very hard, but only one of them will win the 2nd year House Cup. Who will be the next winners?

Here is a summary of all that has happened so far:

TASK 1
During the first few lessons of this second year, our wizards and witches saw the second film of the Harry Potter saga: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. During each lesson, they had to answer some questions about it and pay attention to details (events, characters, spells, magical creatures,etc.). These details will be useful for the second part of their board games.

TASK 2
Then, it was time  to train our students’ magical ear! How much do you know about the woman behind the magical world of Harry Potter ? Our students had to listen  to J.K. Rowling's story and they learnt  how believing in your dream and fighting for it can lead you to success.

And how did Daniel Radcliffe (Harry), Emma Watson (Hermione) and Rupert Grint (Ron) live the filming of The Chamber of Secrets? What about the director, Chris Columbus? Our students could hear about their experiences.

TASK 3
For this task, our wizards and witches wrote an entry  about their experience as students of a magical school. They used their magical diaries to talk about their teachers, their friends,  the school facilities, all the spells and potions they have learnt and many more things.

TASK 4
And now, all of our houses are working on a magical news programme. A lot of things have happened this year at Hogwarts and the Wizarding World wants to know about them.
